I must have missed the Poll Suggestion thread, or I would have nominated Firing Line multi-part AWI in 25/28mm. I got one unit of the Philadelphia Associators Light Dragoons (BEAUTIFUL!) out of them, and a few LI. I also should have gotten more 25mm Aztecs from Naismith Design. Ditto with the 25mm Frontier Colonial range. I love the Pathans and NW Frontier Indians. To my regret, I sold off some Bombay Sappers! |

25mm DLD vehicles, and some of his space stuff. A lot of Necromunda figs, now that I'm back into that. Should never have sold those off. |

Battle System 15mm and DnD Boxed Sets for me. I really miss them. |

Ral Partha cast an SF line in conjunction with an SF skirmish game back in the late 70's. I wish that line was available again in 28mm, with more poses. The lack of poses was the weak feature of the line. |

You left out a "none of the above" choice. I didn't see anything that I regretted not getting. Jim |

If we're gonna include inks/paints, then I definitely wish I had a secret stash of the old Pelikan Grey ink – it was absolutely the best! |
The Beast Rampant | 03 Oct 2011 10:03 a.m. PST |
I guess I had to go with the OOP lines I pined for most at some point, as some of my biggies (such as the Citadel Traveler 15's) are now back in production. Not to mention giving my soul to Ebay for some others. And Heritage Galacta, Fasa ST ships, lots of Rogue Trader oddball miniatures I sold off because I needed cash and couldn't readily fit them into an army list. And welcome back, OFM. |
Grand Duke Natokina | 03 Oct 2011 10:19 a.m. PST |
I went for the 20 mike mike figures and the SYW troops. The rest seem to be fantasy/scifi which I don't really much care for. And The other historical figures were in a scale not to my liking. |

Could only find four on the list, but miss some of these others, e.g.: DLD's 25mm Sci-Fi vehicle range DLD's 15mm Sci-Fi vehicle range 1st Corps not-Star Trek figs (the Heritage ones are just horrible) 1st Corps 28mm+ WWII troops – they were quite nice, but the number of poses was limited (perhaps they are still available, but don't recall seeing them last time I checked their website) 25mm Traveller Imperial Marines I think the 20mm Stan Johansen Sci-Fi minis are still available (but perhaps he had a larger range that I am unaware of) |

Of the list the only ones I miss are Star Wars by West End Games I think. I have no Speeder Bikes and have to improvise. VR James Mattes |

God, I miss the FASA Starships they were so pretty. They are about 30 years old and still some of the best ships made for Trek or any other line of starships. I wish I had the molds :) |

I agree there should have been a "None of the Above" or "Other" option on the poll. And welcome back, OFM. I agree with the sentiment, but I don't think he's back, he just found a loophole in the locked account status in that he can post in poll threads, but not on the main boards. Clever, plus is makes it exciting in that you might have an OFM sighting on the poll threads, which I normally do not read. |
Pictors Studio | 03 Oct 2011 1:54 p.m. PST |
I miss the Eternal Champion line the most. I'm surprised that no one has got a license to do this again. A 15mm massed battle game set in Elric's world would be great. You could even make a fleet game with all the naval actions that happened. There were some pretty reasonable battles, like the sacking of Imrryr. |

I have some of these, they are the same figures, 15mm ACW (Heritage) and 15mm Confederattes (Heritage.) I don't think they were ever called just 15mm ACW. I believe the entire ACW line Union and Confederate was called "Confederattes". |

Dragontooth (Tom Loback) Amphibians and Saurians. I owned one squad of Sharkmen, and lusted hard after an entire artmy ( a good seven years before I ever heard of warhammer, in fact). No idea what rules I wouldve used, but Man! I wanted those armies
link link Had a coupla Boarmen, as well
link Metal Magic 'Rivets', yup. Recently missed Jim Bowens limited 40mm' Hellboy' sculpts, and I'm kicking myself silly over missing MegaMinis the 'Usagi Yojimbo' line. sigh.

"Original BattleTech" a.k.a. Battledroids were great! brianscache.com/battledroids Wish I had gotten more. Even though they're 26 years old, the original BattleAx, Bombardier, Cestus, Crossbow, Gladiator, and Vulcan look good and are generic enough to be useful in many different, non-BT settings. I still use them regularly (along with Mekton, Warbots and older BT figures) for Meka Tac – GSRE games link .

Hmm. Rallynow responded to the editors statement that he responded to a poll thread back in April. No Rallynow on that thread. I'm wondering who Rallynow really is? Could it be John the OFM under a different account? If so, aren't those illegal? |

Didn't armorcast (or was it ainsty) make some large scale battletech mechs, battlearmor, etc? I couldn't afford them when they were out, but it would have been nice to have some before they went. |

Also, Ral Partha's Steve Jackson's OGRE Miniatures. More fo those would be cool, despite the multiple pounds of unpainted Cybertanks I already have

So many ranges, so little time. The list alone brought back memories, lots there I hadn't even thought of in thirty years. The Eternal Champion stuff would be nice though I think the problem with re-releasaing etc is MM and copyright etc. |

I still have some of the old traveller figures – great casts. FGU – Loved reading those rules never got around to playing them sadly – now long lost. |
