Well, it's been a month since this happened TMP link

State Police has finished their investigation, (I was under investigation for attempted voluntary manslaughter)

The Commonwealth Attorney has declared it was a good shoot

My Internal Affairs investigation is complete and I was cleared

My psych evaluation is complete

I've ridden with other officers for several days to make sure I'm good to go

I am officially cleared for duty and back to work!

I'd like to thank everyone for your support and well wishes publicly and by PM. It was greatly appreciated and made this far more bearable. While I knew intellectually that there was never much of a chance I'd get in trouble or be charged criminally, emotionally there was always some doubt. That's all behind me and you guys made it much easier. Thanks,

There is a system and it does work. That said, the fear of something dumb happening in the system that gets fixed on the government "eventually" schedule is not an irrational fear.

We have numerous prosecutors in the state bankrolled by George Soros. They are not police friendly. One locally charged an officer that had been retired for two years. She charged him with manslaughter because another officer shot a bad guy that was pointing a gun at them. She argued that he didn't provide first aid fast enough. It took the jury 45 minutes to find him not guilty. She took out another charge on him the same day he was acquitted. This was after she dropped all charges on his accomplice, who was also armed and under our state law is guilty of homicide if someone is killed during the commission of a crime.

My biggest fear was that one of these prosecuters would end up with my case.
