No, I'm not kidding … its a thing. Check here. And I am adequately trained in it. I'm not sure whether its the committee-designed awkwardness or the unbridled optimism of the phrase that gets to me. No mind, the "universally agreed" set of symbols on the warning label is really what got my attention. Many of them, if elaborate, were easy for me to recognize from my frame of reference. One stuck out at me:
Warning! Sauron is watching! OK, maybe its for oxidizing chemicals as opposed to other noninflammables. Any other caption ideas? My daughter riffed a half dozen off the cuff. My fave was: Warning! Extreme bowling! I put 'em all on my site, so you can img link to 'em for your replies:
