Alright! Now, how about Armies of the Low Countries 1300-1500…?

Cool. Gee Vol 1 … that means there must #2 coming!

Gonsalvo23 Aug 2016 7:58 p.m. PST

Now that's a title I can get enthusiastic about!

Such sarcasm, stecal! There is a volume 2 listed in the same post – it's covering all the non-infantry bits.

>Armies of the Low Countries 1300-1500

I would buy that one…

Though, on reflection – too much stuff to be crammed into just one book.

Finally they are getting around to covering the 80 years war. Now if Warlord Games would just start adding to their late 16th century line. I am also looking forward to Osprey's latest books on the Italian Wars of Unification and the Roman Armies in the East. I will certainly be getting all of these works.

Wow none of the things that I have even heard of let alone appeal to me.

a very Italian year
but only 5 MEN AT ARMS in 2017, the only serie and the oldest with exotic or unusual topics, what a pity, with a such cadency the famous Osprey's"gaps" will be covered in 2030 or 2050 maybe

talking about gaps:
only one volume merging Piemontese and Two Sicilies Armies, both major armies of the Italian Peninsula when they need one volume each at least…I don't imagine the space reserved for Parma or Tuscany if only there is something in the volume 2

in contrast, as usual there will be a lot of New Vanguard and Campaign (12 for the first and at least 5 titles announced for the first 5 months for CAMPAIGN from Trasimene to Fontenoy and 3 WWII), I don't expect to have something exciting with ELITE other than usual hackneyed WWII or modern angloamericangerman threesome topics, the other oldest serie in decadency becoming more the "Tactics" serie than anything else these last years (at least 4 titles announced 2 WWII 2 modern Russian and Vietnam)

Does anyone game the 80YW?

I started a thread about this question: TMP link

before the official big reveal for CAMPAIGN it is now at least 9 titles announced for the first 8 months, half for WWII

Lake Trasimene 217 BC
Bar Kokhba revolt AD 132-135

Fontenoy 1745
Savannah 1779

Shangai & Nanjing 1937
Darwin 1942
Kursk 1943 southern front
Saint Lô 1944

the rest of the Campaign titles certainly revealed this last week of august…
