Nice model and good paint.

Any indication of length?

Ya what scale is it? Would it play for Silent Death size? (Fit in 1 1/2" hex?)

COOL !!!! I'm guessing 15mm …

It already had a goodly amount of discussion on the sneak preview here including photos of it next to 15mm figs:

Looks very nice.

It would be helpful to know the length, width, and height.

Out effing standing as usual!!! Wish I had more $$ to spend right now.

FREAKING AWESOME!!!

This ship by itself is almost enough to get me to go 15mm from 28mm…

..almost

Jemima Fawr16 Apr 2014 9:41 p.m. PST

That is a thing of beauty, though I'm disappointed with the 'Heron' moniker for the sister-ship. Surely 'Shag' is a more suitable partner for 'Cormorant'?

Absolutely fantastic and the stunning sort of paintjob we've come to expect from dwartist. I'll echo the sentiments of "*sigh* If only it was 28mm…" Seriously, you're producing some wonderful stuff.

1/32nd scale, I assume, per usual?

Thanks for that! It would be enormous if it were 28mm scale.

I want to run a "GET TO DA CHOPPAH!" scenerio on a scifi table… matbe against bugs, maybe predator, maybe even my sedition war figures… not sure…but with a suitably awesome "chopper"

The idea that they could get "there" and it's a cargo pod and now they need to hold the line for evac makes me go "hmmm"

Beautiful. I was already turning away from 40K towards 15s and things like this make that decision even easier :)

Size comparison, thanks to dwartist:

My not X COM forces have found their transport. Oh yeah!

Gangrel17 Apr 2014 1:38 p.m. PST

Enormous or not, if this was available in 28mm I'd be seriously considering it. Along with vast amounts of the rest of your catalogue!

Von Klement18 Apr 2014 11:30 a.m. PST

Yeah I liked 28mm scifi too- when I was a kid. 15mm is what the grown ups play. Easy/quick to paint, better rule sets out there, better ground scale (esp. for gun combat), and you can buy a whole force for the price of one 28mm vehicle. Larger variety too.

Gangrel19 Apr 2014 10:17 a.m. PST

Yeah, but 28mm suits RPGs and skirmish gaming better and they are what I play. You stick to your games, I'll stick to mine.

How did I miss this? I know what I'm getting with my next paycheck.
