link If so, how much per sprue? |

Hi Qar Qarth, The head srues aren't available separately at the moment but if there's enough demand it could be sorted out. They would need to sold as a 3 pack or 5 pack (depending on how many sprues can be fitted onto a mould. What do people think would be a reasonable price? Simon Pig Iron Productions |
Cacique Caribe | 07 Jan 2007 1:24 p.m. PST |
The sprue should not cost any more than a figure, I would think. CC |
Cacique Caribe | 07 Jan 2007 3:35 p.m. PST |
So, a 5-pack should be no more than the cost of a pack of5 figures. CC |
qar qarth | 07 Jan 2007 4:16 p.m. PST |
£1.00 GBP maximum each would be more like it. |
Dravi74 | 08 Jan 2007 6:06 a.m. PST |
I know I would be interested. Need some new heads to put on those Warzone plastic figures. Based on the cost of your figures, about £1.00 GBP a sprue would sound reasonable. |
Hyun of WeeToySoldiers | 08 Jan 2007 11:33 a.m. PST |
Sorry, is that "3-pack or 5-pack" of sprues? So that a 3-pack would have 30 heads (10 heads per sprue x 3)? I'd be happy to pay $5 USD USD for a single sprue with 10 heads. |
fatesficklefinger | 08 Jan 2007 1:11 p.m. PST |
Those heads would sure be usefull,i would pay about 3 quid for ten. im sure you would sell alot. could you not add the heads onto some space of a new mold your doing? |
Cacique Caribe | 09 Jan 2007 1:58 p.m. PST |
As soon as Simon decides, I will order them. CC |
lordblackfang | 11 Jan 2007 5:48 a.m. PST |
If the price is reasonable (about a quid for 5 heads) I'd probably buy enough for a 2000 pts IG army. |

I'd love to see some of the heavy weapons on sprues, oh yes I would. |

This is the first time I've seen Pig Iron. Those vehicles are fantastic & the infantry are just what I'm after for my 5150 games. Thanks for the link, Qar Qarth! |

Simon, Have you given any more thought to this idea? Thanks. CC |

Wow. Does anyone know how do these Eureka capped heads compare to the those from Pig Iron? link link CC |

Also, I would be very, very interested in a sprue of backpacks. |

I think there would be a demand for them too. Thank you. |

This head sprue would be nice too!!! link Fingers crossed. CC |

Simon, I would pay premium for the head sprue and the weapons if you offered those also, especially if you would consider allowing them to be used with production masters. I am currently sculpting many many different miniatures and I could really use the scale reference, plus I like them quite a bit. So if there is any chance of gaining permission for using them for "stock" weapons/heads, I would buy in in bulk. Why bother making a mold if you already have it? Saves me time and money in the long run. |

I'd certainly be interested in head sprues. Especially bareheaded. A variety of soft hats can then be added. I've got an idea for the heavy infantry in kefayiah (sp?) |

Hyun's about right. $5 USD per sprue (esp. if you could just order one sprue) sounds about right. I don't know how much sales you'd do if the packages were limited to 30 (or even 50) heads. I mean its nice to have some alternatives when you're putting your force together, but who's going to be swapping heads out on their entire army? Of course I collect at skirmish level (30- figures per side) so I could be way off on this. Then again, if you do a lot of conversions maybe you'd just like to have a LOT of heads on hand just in case? |
Cacique Caribe | 17 Mar 2007 8:39 a.m. PST |
You guys are absolutely right, $5 USD for a 10-head sprue would definitely be a bargain! In retrospect, I have been paying about the same for five-head sprues, though these are completely bare and easier to use in conversions: link Simon, would $5 USD per 10-head sprue be worth it for you? Thanks. CC |

Latest from Simon at Pig Iron. CC ---------------------------------- Hi Dan, Regarding heads – when I've released the first pack of Kolony rebels I will start to get head sprue master moulds done of all the different heads I've done so far. People seem keen on them so its worth a go. |

Go go go Simon, it's July now :-))) Just finished painting my Kolony pack and am back into Sci-fi again big time. Can't decide whether to go down the road of Off-World or Post-Apocalypse . . . I'm about to order more Kolony and standard infantry too, but could really use those heads if they are nearly ready yet? Cheers Frank |
