Hummm
not my cup of tea with miniatures, but not really pornographic. Even a bit far out on my scale of decency. How to explain it? Well, Iīve always doubted the value of such figures outside of collectorīs showcases, and am really doubtful about their use in actual games. Donīt even think itīs particularly well sculpted, but itīs a whole lot better than, say, 95% of Excaliburīs "Black Bag" series of "erotica" (imagine my fingers making that " " movement) miniatures, of which Iīve painted a whole damn lot as a commission, for a customer who just might have been a perfect example of the target group for such offerings. *ahem* I think itīs a sign of our oversexualized times. Not that Iīd like to ban female figures (that Perry Rhodan incident back in the late 60s was hilarious!), but I prefer the sensibly clad fightresses (hard to come by, but thereīs some nice minis in the Reaper Line, not to menting GZGs Stargrunt female soldiers, NOT the more "exotic" models). To sum up, I think that the figure is indecent, in poor taste, and most of all totally let down by a horrible hairdo, painted an even worse colour, but Iīve also thought like that of GWīs Demonettes. |

It's not so much we adults that worry it's the fact that my 12 year old son is getting into wargaming and is starting to look at figures beyond GW (so far I'm directing his wanderings but as a fullthrust player I do keep a GZG link). On the subject of game use I found the eM-4 plastic ganger girls quite unsuitably attired for combat so sanded down the chests and added enough putty to turn the hot pants into jeans. Robert |

Hmmmmmm
. 1. Don't like it, don't buy it
.works for minis, movies and fresh sushi 2. Change the Channel/don't click on the link/send to bulkmail/trashcan 3. One person's view of 'erotic' is another's
'huh?' and as far as 'violence' against women and children..while personally I am 'against' anything of the sort
in 'real life'
it HAPPENS. Does this mean that in ANY kind of RPG/ 'wargaming' only 'appropriately attired and PC figures' should be used??? D'oh! WARGAMING??? maybe I should stick to starships and non-sexually graphic BUGS/aliens??? 8-/ Personally
IF all I had WERE 'female/nude/erotic/pornographic figures'
I'd be sorta pressed to find a game to use them in? (non-macho women WITHOUT GUNS????) But on the other 'tentacle'
I could really go for the new 'Libby and the tigress' figure
in her 'skimpy atire'
in a VSF/Fantasy campaign
possibly as a Barsoomian queen/companion figure to Dark Wolf/Boris from Heresy??? A standing/fighting version and a 'mounted' version
for use on Tigress or dragon or flying/runing bird-thing??? Splendid stuff there.. An ARMY of them??? Why? I would use it as a 'character' figure
like 'Dejah Thoris'
and Boris as a John-Carter type
then I get some 'wastelanders' from Bronze age
and
do some red, sandy, desert terrain
and
were was I??? Oh
pornographic figures??? Nah
.I have some few dozen 'sexy fem figures
but I have 100X more starships, and probably even more alien-things/tenetacles/robots
. Variety is the spice of life
.in food, movies and miniatures
(I'd say 'wives/girlfriends'
but I'm not Henry the 8th or a hollywood celeb
8-) I found my 'keeper' and am DARN GLAD I did! Carpe' Tentacle'um of the Lost Planet Sushi Sgt DWW |

{But it seems that you can show horrific amounts of violence but a tiny little view of a nipple gets out and it's the end of the frickin' world.} Welcome to the world of hypocrisy it is still very much alive and going strong. Keep in mind that mostly those that are so outraged by the nipples are just trying to throw us off track they are the one's with the most extreme fetishes usually cross dressers or pedophiles. Oh, how I love 2 supple rosy nipples offering me a plate of breakfast every morning

I had to look at the page the original poster listed twice, then re-read his post to spot the figure he was refering to. Didn't seem worth mentioning myself. I've seen far worse, hell, I've painted far worse. If I did fantasy more, I'd have a unit of these just for a change. |

it's the fact that my 12 year old son is getting into wargaming and is starting to look at figures beyond GW You may want to direct him away from the GW Dark Elves, Slaaneshi, and Sisters of Battle then. The first two get a bit nipply and the last is disturbingly S&M in a couple cases, not to mention the Sisters are couched in an overt and darkly twisted religious back story. |

Trust me he's being kept well away from dark elves and slannesh. I've introduced him to eM-4 and SST at the moment. Robert |

Ideal for those gamers who will never get so close to a living female in a similar state of undress – think Comic Book Guy from the 'Simpsons'. Was amused by the captions on the German site
."evil girl with wipe" etc!!!!! |

Not pornographic- we have all seen the feral elf front and centre? Shaved, squatting with thighs apart definately makes it into the sort of magazine that you can't claim 'is just a painting guide' |

Agree with Lucius completely. I live in Japan and there is a lifestyle called 'otaku', which you may or may not have heard of, with a somewhat negative stereotype attached to it. Grown men owning naked or semi-naked female miniatures fits that stereotype to a tee. I'd much rather be thought of as an eccentric who collects metal soldiers than a pervert. Having said that, if people want to giggle at, paint, admire, slaver over or whatever it is that someone might do with such miniatures then that's their choice, and fair play to them. |

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, odd tastes
.. Nude figures based on 1/10th of 1 percent {or less} of the real world
..no fat rolls and all that. Real question is in wargaming, what battles does one play? |
Stepman3 | 07 Aug 2017 10:27 a.m. PST |
Hasslefree has plenty of nude figures now. Both male and female…Maybe not "porn" but defiantly are sultry… |

In the UK, from what I can see, motorcycle magazines "always" (sigh…) have attractive women on the covers wearing little. I wonder if the motorbike fraternity and forums get this same soul searching. Or are they adult enough to cope with flesh? Marc (And is this the ultimate zombie thread revival?) |
