Hi, all. I'm thinking of converting some Foundry and other figures using Amazon Miniatures' QT heads. The problem is that their website still relies upon crude drawings and grainy photographs. Not only that, but they have yet to reply to an inquiry that I sent by e-mail on September 22nd. Does any TMPer have decent pictures of any of these QT heads, ideally as used in conversions on other manufacturers' figures? They will be "true 25mm" is all I can tell you. I used a lot of QT figures and heads back in the 80's. They will probably be small for your use. |

I recently bought a few QT models to use as crews for my Early Imperial Roman army. They looked OK and size-wise looked fine next to 1st Corps figures. They were slightly smaller than Foundry and not as finely sculpted, though not so different that it would jump out at you. So I think they'd probably be OK with Foundry, as long as the Foundry minis weren't some of their larger ones (if that makes sense). I had a photo of this posted on my Yahoo pictures site, but think I may have trashed it now. I'll see if I can find the image again. Malc |

I have some of the Mongol heads and they vary a fair bit in size. The helmeted heads for this range are at the big end, the mongol fur cap head is at the small end. |

Thanks for the replies thus far. Hmm, it is strange that nobody from Amazon has bothered to comment
