The sci-fi movie 'The Land That Time Forgot' will be shown on Turner Classic Movies tonight at 8 p.m. Eastern, 7 p.m. Central.

Anyone that wants to record it has a few hours to get their tapes or DVDs ready. Have fun!

Thanks for the heads-up. I love that film, even with all the cheesy dinos and special effects.

CC, THAT'S what makes this film so enjoyable to watch: all that "cheese"!

Well, that and the mix of a WWI German sub crew and an island of dinosaurs. Makes for a great little wargame, eh?

Cacique Caribe30 Jul 2006 2:30 p.m. PST

Aye. It is unavoidable to game it. It was called "Caprona", right?

Does anyone make good 28mm figures that could be used as U-Boat crew?

I started this other thread to find out if there are suitable figures for the U-Boat crew:

Wow!!! I guess I had not checked the Brigade Games' site in quite some time . . .

Those Germans will work well with a sprinkling of these Merchant Marines (to act as the recovered crew in this scenario):

I guess I will be placing my order very, very soon!!!

QUESTION: Would these work as additional crew for a WWI U-Boat? Or are they not suitable for submarine service?
