<spoiler> She's not really a nun :) </spoiler> I like the series. Not sure why, but it's quite entertaining. Maybe it's trying to figure out if I find Marian attractive or not. |

What was that all about? Damn bug. Anyway, I was admiring the paintjob on the Magnificent Egos werewolf. Thanks. CC |

I went through my boxes yesterday and dug up 4 of the Reaper ones (3 werewolves and 1 moorhound): link link link link CC |

Now I did have the one in your thrid link but sold him on as he deoesnt fit for me with the others, in addition to those I have the female werewolf from reaper which is spot on for Dog soldiers and also the Heresy were wolf which is very nice |
Cacique Caribe | 29 Nov 2006 3:34 p.m. PST |
Lowtardog, I am actually thinking of using that one as a female: link This one, with the breasts, looks a bit too human and not "bitchy" enough: link CC PS. Do you remember seeing any female werewolves in "Underworld"? |

This is interesting, if in the wrong scale: picture CC |

Fortean | 21 Jan 2007 5:46 p.m. PST |
Does anyone know if the West Wind ones come in pieces, or of they are solid. I just picked up a Reaper male werewolf and it's being a real pain to assemble for some reason. |
malamute | 22 Jan 2007 4:30 a.m. PST |
The westwinds ones are not kit form, except the Loup Garoux figure which might have a separate arm.(I think,Its a long time since I bought and painted it!) |
Shadowdragon | 31 Jan 2007 3:19 p.m. PST |
@Penchour – That Armageddon warwolf is fantastic, but why is it so expensive? It's in 28mm scale isn't it? Hm, I wonder if I can find a second-hand one somewhere. |

I have to add my voice, Reaper is my favorite so far. West Wind looks very nice, and The ones from Blue Moon look really good too. link |

Fortean, I'm with you there. The Reaper ones are still my favorites: link link link link CC |

Scale is an issue because so many of the excellent Rackham Werewolf models are on 40-50mm bases, but I want Werewolves that fit comfortably on a 25mm base. |

Look on the bottom row of this gallery
link You also might want to look at the other galleries too. link Find the proper name of the one you like, then do a search on eBay like this, "D&D werewolf". Just substitute the proper name where the boldface text is. Very cost effective and they're light and they're already painted. |
28mmMan | 15 Dec 2008 5:48 p.m. PST |
There are tons of over the top larger than life werewolves
but who gets to gauge the real size of a werewolf? But for more realistic werewolves, just slightly larger than man size
then again it depends on what the werewolf was being used for
I like the Darkson one, I hate the prepainted ones
Then again this is an old post, rehashed
I am curious if the person hunting for the minis found his or her desired fix? |
Comfychairgames | 16 Dec 2008 9:17 a.m. PST |
I'll throw Comfy Chair Games Cerebeast into the mix here. All 3 heads are seperats so you can have a one, two or three headed Werewolf and it will look like thats what it was made for. link |

A Werewolf I've recently had a lot of fun with is Fenryll's "Master Lupus". Has a long tail (curled back onto the body), lovely detailed hands, and a base covered in tasty crushed skulls. About the size of a lighter built Rackham Confrontation Wolfen. 3 Pieces (Body & hands) plus base. link picture – Pretty poor idea of how nice he is in person. The hands come separately, so mine is doing something a bit less fierce (juggling). picture picture (Excuse the poor eye I sculpted in, mine had a hole in his face) picture |

I love that scene from Dracula! That was really what Dracula was all about: the taboo subject of sex in Victorian England. I am amazed that this Werewolf topic has such legs! It is interesting CC, do you feel that werewolves should be the same mass as their human form? That has always been my problem with the giant werewolves. Whereas Confrontations 'Wolfen' are a separate species, most wherewolves are far too large and wolfy. My favorite Wolfen: link What a werewolf 'should' actually look like to me: picture |

Norscaman, "do you feel that werewolves should be the same mass as their human form? That has always been my problem with the giant werewolves." Until you worded it that way, I guess I had never voiced that feeling – though that's exactly how I feel. Big guys should turn into big werewolves, while little guys into little ones. All relative, but dependent on the mass of the original human form. That's what I think, at least. CC |
