Would you be interested (for your Sci-Fi, Pulp, Fantasy and Prehistoric goals)? Best case scenario would be brand new poses. But would you be interested even if they are winter-dressed but in the same exact poses as his more scantily clad packs (as in his existing C25, C26, C29)? link CC |
| Lowtardog | 16 Feb 2006 1:15 a.m. PST |
I thought you were going to say would you have Hitler or Stalin as the leader ;0) I suppose you mean by putting them in skins etc? I would prefer that rather than the Raquel Welch look though you are NOT getting me interested in another period!!! |
| Cacique Caribe | 16 Feb 2006 1:27 a.m. PST |
Yes!!! Plenty of furs to survive the Ice Age: picture picture link They would work for frozen Lost World scenarios, odd encounters in Mongolia/Siberia, prehistoric planets, etc. Don't you think? CC |
| Ironmammoth | 16 Feb 2006 1:45 a.m. PST |
I would buy them in winter skins etc. Either the same figures or new poses! |
| Roberto Cofresi | 16 Feb 2006 2:48 a.m. PST |
Absolutely. But only if "winter-dressed". There is no other way to do proper cavemen. |
| Chupacabras | 16 Feb 2006 2:53 a.m. PST |
That is why I have not gone into cavemen (yet). Gotta have plenty of furs and leggings. If Copplestone made them, I would certainly buy them and start yet a new period. |
| Patules | 16 Feb 2006 3:09 a.m. PST |
Epoxy Putty? Sculpting fur is very basic stuff. |
| Steve Pugh | 16 Feb 2006 4:34 a.m. PST |
I'll buy any more cavemen that Copplestone sculpts. Whether dressed for the arctic or the tropics or all points in between. |
| Ferrous Lands | 16 Feb 2006 5:05 a.m. PST |
Yes, it has seemed odd to me that although several manufacturers produce cave men, none are in ice-age attire. |

No one would buy them, because everyone knows it was very hot back when the dinosaurs roamed the earth. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . LOL or maybe not.

Centurio Andy, I have been wondering the same thing for a while. But, I guess, the demands for tropical attire won out with the first packs made. I think there is now a demand for attire for the frozen wastes. Let's keep our fingers crossed. CC link |

Some cavegirls can look nice in winter furs too! Remember this Star Trek episode on that ice planet ("All Our Yesterdays"): picture CC |

Time would reverse itself and the universe would end. So don't do it Mark. w.

| jpattern2 | 16 Feb 2006 9:01 a.m. PST |
I'd buy at least two of each pack. |
| Norscaman | 16 Feb 2006 9:44 a.m. PST |
I'd buy one pack of the fur-clad guys. I use them as primitives for my barbarians to fight. |
| CooperSteveatWork | 16 Feb 2006 10:21 a.m. PST |
Er
Copplestone inuit with a weapon change? |
Hundvig | 16 Feb 2006 1:04 p.m. PST |
I misread the thread title as "well-dressed cavemen" and had visions of Neanderthals in tuxedos and evening gowns. Now those I'd buy

Thesecretalias is spot on. |
| rnorton23 | 16 Feb 2006 4:49 p.m. PST |
I'd buy 'em! Mark needs to have a Caveman special deal of the month! |
| Ferrous Lands | 16 Feb 2006 6:44 p.m. PST |
I think using inuits would require head swaps, not just weapon changes to be convincing cavemen. |
| Cacique Caribe | 17 Feb 2006 12:39 p.m. PST |
I agree Centurio Andy. It is not just a matter of "what if Copplestone made long-haired Inuits". The dress of the Copplestone Inuits is a bit too sophisticated to pass as winter-dressed cavemen: link CC link |

Sci-Fi gamers can have the winter-dressed cavemen attack their settlements: picture picture CC |

The moment they are made, I will order a couple of packs of each. |

What?! Mark is making winter-dressed cavemen?! *writes out check for hundreds of dollars to Copplestone Castings* Oh- what IF. Mark, the check is waiting to be sent! :-) |
| Cacique Caribe | 18 Jul 2007 10:26 p.m. PST |
LOL. If Copplestone has already done Cavemen, and he has already done Inuit, why not meet half-way, right? CC PS. I just sent him another email to see if this is part of his short or long-term plans. Fingers crossed. |

At least I now have their winter huts! TMP link CC |
| DAWGIE | 30 Jul 2007 5:45 a.m. PST |
YES, I WOULD BUY SEVERAL PACKS OF THEM! HOWEVER, it is extremely easy to make fur leggings, boots, cloaks, etc, out of epoxy ribbon.
ditto for hairstyles or fur caps. DAWGIE

Superb work CC! Ready for Mammoth hunting. Is there a way to get them handling atlatl (spearthrowers) rather than just spears? Mysterioso |
