Can anyone suggest some mfgs to look at for these? I pulled out my Warmaster rulebook the other day and was thinking "Gosh, this would be loads of fun to play again" – and I've got this new found interest in this period.

Thanx!

Have you looked at Pendraken? If you're in the US, Arsenal Miniatures carries them.

Yeah – but I have no idea what they look like. :(

This comes up from time to time and I always 'put my oar in' for GW warmaster figures: e.g.

I do actually have two units and a commander finished. I should really go and photgraph them…

Voila,

Enough procrastinating – the photos ain't pretty but they were taken in a hurry.

and they're not halbardiers, they were xbows and arquebusers.

Should n't do things in such a hurry :)

-The Front stands were xbows and arquebusers, the rear stands were halbardiers…

Three corrective posts in a row. Is that a TMP record? It must be the xmas spirit taking over.

illumin4tus – are you trying to show us up? I can't paint my 25mm Italian Wars stuff that well!!

Ok, on the the real issue. How well do Warmaster play this period?

The pendraken ELM line is more burgundian, although the knights serve better for gendarmes than te warmaster equivalenets – the shields being the big issue. Italian wars is doable with some conversion work IMHO
