I normally never shop at Walmart, but I'm getting desperate for a full range of Delta Ceramcoat, Americana, or FolkArt craft paints locally. Jo-Ann's has closed and Michaels and Hobby Lobby have eviscerated their craft paint selections. Is Walmart any better? That is something that would compel me to shop there, however reluctantly. Advise, anyone??

Your best bet is to shop online for the colors you want/need, from your preferred suppliers. Most will ship to your local store for free pick-up (no shipping fees). I know Wal-Mart does this, and I suspect Michael's and/or Hobby Lobby will do the same for you. This will assist your local B&M store to keep their doors open and it will save you on shipping costs.

Local stores are finding it more difficult to carry products on their shelves because they have a hard time selling enough to justify having it occupy shelf space. After so long, it gets discounted and then trashed if it doesn't sell.

If they see enough product being ordered in by customers, they can then justify having it on their shelves.

Best of luck! Cheers!

I was in a Hobby Lobby on Saturday, and they had a good selection of FolkArt paints. On a side note, they were selling the old paint bottle racks for $5 USD each.

Dickblick.com has DecoArt Americana ($1.64) and FolkArt ($1.59).
