Went to my local Hobby Lobby to get some acrylic paint. Discovered that they no longer carry Americana or Delta craft paints, or the small line of Vallejo paint! The horror. Found that Michaels still carries the Americana. I note both stores have their own line of craft paints. Will have to check them out. I hate change! |

I was lucky enough to get into the local Hobby Lobby when they marked all of the Vallejo down to .99 cents. I think I picked up 11 bottles of what was left. |

Last time I was in, they had eliminated the basswood and balsa sheets. You had to buy bags and blocks in random sizes. |

Well, that sucks. HL makes more money on their in-store paint brand. Changes are happening across their entire stores. For example, they discontinued selling doll house items in lieu of selling plain t-shirts for the same reason. |
