"What’s on your sling bullet?" Topic

If you're an ancient slinger and you get to decide what's inscribed on your sling bullets, what message are you slinging?

Imagine getting hit with a sling bullet that had advertising inscribed: "Eat at Kuznetsov's, New Carthage, Spain"

"If you can read this, my aim sucks."

Amazing grace, big surprise, hits you right between the eyes, hits you hard like a small flat stone, slays your giants and leads you home.

So "grace"

My mercenary conpany's logo. It's advertising that makes an impact.

NO, no, all that is on the rock is "grace"; the rest is why.

Remember the grace knives in the old scifi rewriting of Xenophon? Andre Norton? STARsomething?

robert, yes, STAR GUARD. One of the first scifi I ever read, probably seventh grade or such. Of course I had never heard of Xenophon, and only made the connection in college when I read Anabasis.
