For some of my games I can't physically fit more than six players around the table. If I'm running something for a dozen players, or more, they need a bit more room. I can't see how you wouldn't adjust table sizes?

Pardon me. I've having these visions of (a) two players, one on each side of a 12' X 6' table or (b) a dozen wargamers crowded around a 3' square card table. Unless someone finds both of these two credible, I think the honest answer of the 53% is that normally the number of players doesn't vary much, and no one adjusts the regular table to go from five players to four, or from five players to six.
