I use 2 inch thick insulation panels for the tables, they come in 4x8, can be cut to any size. Very light but strong, I store them in my basement. I have sizes for 2mm to 28mm, skirmish or big battles. My mats are made from marine vinyl, bought on sale by the yard at JoAnns, now gone, and painted for various terrains, including winter. Styro hill blocks fit nicely under them for terrain. The world is not flat! All my boards have slopes and hills, rubber roads and rivers.
