I have completed my collection of German Battlecruisers, and now I can display the whole squadron of Admiral Hipper at Jutland. Here it is, forming into line of battle on the afternoon of May 31st, 1916.
The first 3 ships can be found on this page TMP link Now, here is SMS Lützow, Hipper's flag ship, and also the only German Battlecruiser sunk at Jutland
And the second ship of the class, SMS Derfflinger
Lastly, a topdown group shot, highlighting the fast evolution of German Battlecruisers. Von der Tann is the first built, Derfflinger the last and only 5 years elapsed between their launching dates. All ships, except for the Lützow were armed with 11" guns, the Lützow's main battery was 12".

Surely Lutzow's sister, Derfflinger, also had a 12" main battery? |

@BillyNM – you are correct. Foxbat, great work on these! These BCs make a great a great 5-ship project. Hard not to toss Hindenburg and Mackensen into the mix for some late-war scenarios. |
