End of the 1st quarter. A visit to the local toy soldier show saw me pick up 20 20mm figures for the SCW and the 4th wave of figures from Mark's Little Soldiers added another 38. Vacation and work took up most of the month. I did get some painting in but not much brought to conclusion. Last months post.

A quick burst at the end of the month kept me positive(though just barely). 3 months positive, streak will end tomorrow(barring a miraculous painting spree). My wife buys me quite a few miniatures for my birthday.

I spent time doing my income taxes, so I didn't get as much painted completed as I had hoped.

I finally finished a unit of 10mm Late Roman auxilia that had been languishing since last fall. 37 figs completed. None purchased.
I did purchase a pair of Matchbox 1/72 scale Gloster Gladiators, painted one up in Belgian markings. But these are not for gaming. |

I was net -2 for March. On the plus side, I painted 26 figures:
- 14-man unit of Accurate 54mm AWI, plus 1 disorder and 1 casualty figure from ATKM
- Finished 10 28mm skirmishing French Voltigeurs (mix of Warlord and Perry) that had been on my painting desk for almost a year. On the minus side, I found 28 ATKM 54mm figures for sale, and purchased them since they are out of production and not often available. This brings me to -74 for the year. |
