I know there is Subutteo (though I've never played it). Any other good options? |

There was a soccer miniatures game produced in Greece, but if I recall correctly, the publisher/designer died rather abruptly and the game disappeared. |

I also have to chime in about Corner Kick!!! I think that it is a really fun game (Not that I am biased about it or anything.) My dad or I typically run a game or two at Historicon and Cold Wars. We have run a couple of World Cup tournaments at Historicon with Brasil winning the first two (once in a penalty kick shootout against Spain) and Croatia upsetting France 2-1 four years ago. Our problem is the lag time trying to guess who the best teams are to paint them. In three attempts we got 4 correct once, and 3 correct the two other times. The game is designed to fit on a Subutteo pitch (mat)and there are a couple of miniatures manufacturers out there who make 25mm figures. If anyone wants further information, they can email me at my username at msn dot com. |

For the record we playtested it with some professional soccer/futbol players. A keeper out of the Scottish 2nd Division and some Brasilians who were reserve team players or ex-players for Gremio. |
