There is a very good book on the actual rebellion – Loyal Rebels: Andreas Hofer and the Tyrolean Uprising of 1809, by Gunther Eyck. I managed to obtain a copy some time ago via a library loan. However, as I say, it was some time ago and, enjoyable and interesting read as it was, I don't recall it offering that much detail on uniforms. But great for background material. |
