I cordially invite you to take part in the Kickstarter campaign of the game Gods of War: Robert E. Lee historical wargame, which launched on June 4, (It's already funded!). Its main goal is to fund the English rulebook for the game. It is a historical wargame set in the time of the American Civil War and the second half of the 19th century – primarily in 6mm scale. In "Gods of War: Robert E. Lee", the player takes on the role of the commander-in-chief of the entire army and fights the battle from this perspective. The game is therefore designed to play the greatest battles of the era, such as Gettysburg, Sedan, or Solferino. The main task of the player is to create the battle's strategy and manage his subordinate generals. As the game is scaled to easily play huge battles, one infantry and cavalry base is one brigade and one artillery base is one brigade or battalion of artillery. The key features of the game mechanics are fog of war and the command system. Because of the focus on this second aspect, many things like combat or movement are simplified. As a commander-in-chief the player won't bother about the tactics of regiments or individual brigades, but he will watch the performance of entire corps and divisions. The game also uses special decks of battle and generals cards.
So if you would like to play really big battles and feel like a real commander-in-chief, we encourage you to participate in our campaign. More information in the link:kickstarter.com/projects/722078298/gods-of-war-robert-e-lee
