From across the stubble cornfield, the Union Brigadier mumbles to himself….."I think we've seen these boys before."

Tango count down six threads in ACW Gallery and you will find Shaitans original post of his Rebel arty. Not even a month ago. TIG

What the hell has my work been reposted for??

Let us face it. I am an occasional visitor to the ACW boards. Indeed my sole contribution in decades has been a bunch of famous bushwhackers from the Missouri/Kansas upset (Dixons figures of course).

I would have missed your work without this posting and Tango did provide that link. What harm if it attracts a few more views? Sadly, once something like your original slides down the list, it tends to be lost.

How I wish I could paint faces like these. The chap with the ramrod/sponge and red kepi. He comes in our village pub, though his beard is greyer. Instantly recognisable and not sure about his liver function tests.

I think repeating previous content clutters, and crowds out other newer threads.

I'm sure if a regular member were to repeat a thread over and over, that person might even get a warning from the admin to stop it, and any such excess postings edited out.

Frankly, I don't care to go much to the 18th cen.-AWI board here anymore – it's just getting spammed everyday with borrowed content postings.

I mean, there's even posting showing figure plates off the Perry Miniatures website now (or postings from off a blog that are pics from off the Perry Miniatures website) -

wash and repeat (but it does plump up the thread count on TMP, right?!)

How about a challenge…..how about Tango contribute some of his own content, and plumps up the board that way with some original media, figs, dioramas, games, of his own creation?

Now that is a very good suggestion, made before indeed.

I know Tango has talent…and, let us face it, we all have enough time….to post our own work.

Hide not thy light under a Bushel (to paraphrase the Bible).

Just once, show your work. I know it would stand scrutiny.
