….locating a Workshop(I think) article from 3-4 years ago on painting spaceships. It had a great method for painting lights on the ships. Any one have an idea? And yes, before anyone says it, I'm sure there are a few TMPer's who think I need help in other areas. Dave |

I've also had good results by underpainting the window area in white and overpainting with Liquitex acrylic flourescent paints in red or green. |

I've found pretty decent results doing TMP searches by going out to Google and then searching back in. TMP/spaceship/lights got it done. |

Outside lights are important, both for illuminating landing area and for letting others see where your ship is, e.g., as you're coming in to port. Windows, though -- aren't you afraid of being driven insane by the hyperspace blind spot? link |

@Oberlindes That's why you only put windows in the front, so you can get that great screen saver star field effect. Very soothing. |

@HMS Exeter: Thanks for reminding me of the star field screen saver. What ever happened to it? |

Oberlindes – they couldn't get rid of the hyperspace blind spot in the screen saver. |
