I have a little money and I'm considering buying a few miniatures but the range has been sold and I don't know who makes them now. I THINK they may have been sold by Grendel at one point, and the company that originally sold them also sold a range of Border Reivers and Elizabethan historicals. The Reivers are now sold by Graven Images/Monolith designs. link

but I cannot find the fantasy range anywhere.

Anyone know who produces them these days?

I think timeline/Hoka Hey sells that range of border-reivers now so might have the others

I think you might be confusing Grendel/Graven Images/Monolith with a different company, Vendel miniatures. As Prince Rupert says, the timeline/Hoka Hey line is the old Graven Images line.

Vendel produced a large line of Reivers representing about 8 families, and a line of fantasy miniatures including Goblins, Orcs, Dwarves and Elves. The Reivers were later repackaged as Elizabethans. When Vendel folded maybe 10-11 years ago, the Reivers went to Sgt. Major miniatures, also now out of business. Not sure what happened to the fantasy miniatures but they have not yet resurfaced. I had their Goblin army and it was very nice, and I still have one pack of elf cavalry unopened.

The Vendel Reiver range and that from Graven Images were not compatible – I had both and the latter were much larger.

Optional Field, I have some of their orcs, goblins, wolf riders, and trolls if you are interested.

If indeed it is the Vendel you're after, the new owner has been slowly sorting out the molds and so on. It's very much a retirement project so progress is slow.

That said, I'm friends with him and game with him regularly. I will probably see him Monday. If you get me a list of what you're after, perhpas I can help?

He has fantasy, Reivers and some ancients.
