You were asked – TMP link

If you could go back and start over on your collection would you collect only one scale for all of your gaming? If so, what scale would it be?

I'd stick to one scale if starting out into a new period. If I like the period and painting in that period, I might look at additional scales. Especially if I want to play bigger battles. Larger scale figs if I want to do more low tactical things ("handful of men" actions on 1 to 1 scale)

When I took the survey, I took it was asking if you would have collected in just one scale. Hard to play WWII naval battles in the same scale as Napoleonic land actions…

If I could start all over again, I would have gone with 15mm, the newer generations of 15s are fantastic and the scale is perfect for the 1:1 platoon to company sized games I love. Khurasan Miniatures alone, could have kept me happy for decades. Alas I must play 28mm on bigger tables. :D
