I have not, and I will not, start over. I'm happy with my multiple scales. Some games work in a particular scale, so that is what I have done.

I game WW I airplanes in 1/144. I game fantasy in 25-28mm (because the industry is scatter-brained and can't stick to one scale… actually, it is a marketing scheme which I abhor). I game with 54mm plastic Army Men because they're incredibly fun, and inexpensive -- not to mention they're extremely durable figures able to withstand terrible (unintentional) abuse during handling and gaming. Cheers!

If you could go back and start over on your collection would you collect only one scale for all of your gaming? If so, what scale would it be?

I've narrowed it down to three for myself, either 6mm, 10mm or 1/72. Pick on and stick with it. However as you have observed I couldn't pick just one to narrow it down.

So if the great eraser was about to wipe it all out except one, I suppose I would say 10mm.
