Some 15mm Platoons for France 1940 and a review by the Little One of the Airfix Battle Rules. "The rules are simple to understand for a 10-year old wargamer. However I have played a lot of games before so maybe they are a little bit more difficult for you. … There is also a way you can play against yourself in Solo mode … harder than playing against Papa because I roll very well for both sides."

Modiphius Entertainment claimed they would eventually put out a miniatures version (or rule book) to Airfix Battles, before the board game was released. I bought the board game because I like the card system, but, in anticipation of the miniatures rules coming out that would utilize these cards.

Don't think that ever happened. Glad you're doing the conversion on your own in the meantime!

So great to see the young ones interested in wargaming. I am trying to get my 8 year old grand daughter to give it a try. I even did a set of Scooby Doo minis as an incentive.

I've tried playing on a tabletop with the grid discretely marked with tile spacers (à la To The Strongest and simlar games) – it really works well and it felt like a tabletop game :)

I believe the tabletop game is still being worked on. Meanwhile, check out the Facebook group for the game – laods of extra cards, map files, scenarios etc.

We need more of this otherwise this hobby along with others like railway modelling will slowly die.
