I have a customer who has asked for a recomendation for a US based painter for 15mm AWI figures. Are there any out there? I would prefer ones that have some examples of their work on the web, or, lacking that testimonials. Dave WargamingMiniatures.com |

Evil Bob does fantastic work of all eras. He painted my Vikings and Saxons and a number of other one-off commissions: evilbobs.biz 5 stars |

Dave, you might put him in touch with Phil Kearnan of Outland of PA. He usually has a booth at the major East Coast cons. He stays pretty booked up just by word of mouth. I have FPW figures he has done and a bunch of RAFM and Platoon 20 Vietnam figures. He is affordable and does great work. I wish I could post the pics. He did a range of uniform shades as well as "dirtying" one squad my RAFM Marines. They look like they just came out of the bush. Even the right color dirt for I Corps. I can't recommend him enough. Stay away from Change of Command out of Maine, their "painting" of my miniatures were awful! You have been warned… |
