I'd like to have my 15mm Kutuzov figure in a carriage.

Does anybody know were I could order a 15mm carriage with a seated general figure that I could make into Marshal Kutuzov?

Thanks!

God bless,
John T.

Old Glory 15s have a Massena in his carriage at Wagram. Could you use that with a suitable head swap?

and torso swap.

If you are really stuck, here is what I did. I used two figures from AB for the Tsar and Prussian king in a Britschka carriage. They were one piece mounted castings. Lots of sawing to lose the horses, build your own carriage, give them a nice carriage blanket to cover their legs and away you go!

They are now somewhere in Australia……

I just knew I had done Kutuzov in a carriage at some stage from converted AB figures. Found him!

Deadhead, I love your carriages and yours are what I'm looking for, but I don't think I want to go to the effort you went to.

On a Facebook group, I was directed to this "coach."

Does anybody know if this Essex model is an open top coach?

22nd Foot, I couldn't find the Old Glory 15s Massena carriage anywhere.

He's in one of the Marshals packs. At least he was.

According to this, the Marshals 3 pack, but I'd give them a call or drop them an e-mail, I've always found them very responsive:

The Essex coach isn't even the right period, it's covered and more suitable for the three musketeers. I have the Massena coach but if I need more I either scratch build the or convert them from the Freikorps 15s stagecoach.

are you talking about a simple Droshky? I just know that somewhere there is one in a Russian museum claiming to be his. I even thought I had a picture……….

A large open carriage looks much more impressive. Something like the blue Landau above?

You can see my blog about the Massena coach if it helps at all. link

I contacted Old Glory and they confirmed the mould that produced the carriage vignette had been damaged years ago and was never replaced. The model is out of production and the Massena figure in the current Old Glory bag is just a figure on horseback. I found that out the hard way after buying the bag and being dismayed at why it wasn't present.

For the Coachman try the Minifigs Swedish artillery limber riders and the Swedish artillery drivers for matched riders in top hats.

Thank you, ThePeninsularWarin15mm. I have a nice 18mm AB figure of Kutuzov on horseback and I guess I'll just stay with the mounted figure. I was just hoping to find a carriage for my Kutuzov character without having to scratch build it.

Thanks to all for your comments, links, photos, and help.

God bless,
John T.
