I seem to remember somewhere in the mists of time that someone used to make a Napoleonic general in a carriage. I think it was Old Glory with the invalid Massena.Does anyone know if this is still available? or can anyone suggest alternatives?

Scale 15/18mm or 28/32mm?

Minifigs did one in 25mm

I think the Minifigs one was meant to be Massena.

Just think of the tabletop footprint it would need; like a 'built-up area' on wheels!

Old Glory did make one. I think it was Field Marshals #3. I don't think it's OOP.

See Westfalia and follow their progress. The carriage is available and Kawe may bring us up to date on the variations of generals, marshals and emperors that may be in the works to ride in the carriage.

Wasn't Napoleon's carriage unique?

Napoleon had many a carriage of course…and more than one dormouse/landau/post chaise or whatever you chose to call it. The best known is the one captured at Genappe and brought to London (destroyed in a fire in 1925). The other survivor is still at Malmaison, but was use of the Imperial Staff.

Warlord have produced what I think is a very creditable version, at a remarkably low price. I tried scratch building it and showed it here before, but indulge me……….

Wait till Westfalia produce the Tsar sitting in that carriage……you have seen their seated figure as promised, I am sure.

We have 2 coaches that can be used for generals over at Westfalia. Do you have a particular general in mind? I might just have him made.
