Simcoe's and Ewald's memoirs will give an excellent feel for the type of small ops that were waged within the neutral ground.
As linked above, Hufeland's book is probably the best on background and general coverage of the skirmishes and its often internecine warfare. |

Obviously I don't intend to confine the gaming mayhem to New York.

A new book is out called "The Grand Forage 1778" that covers actions in north NJ, NY, and Connecticut. Still reading it but it is very good. Recommend you get it. link |

I have seen this pamphlet somewhere along the way, it is mentioned by Blake Bell (see Pell's Point, above) in some of his other writings as unavailable.

By the way,the author, Alfred Franko, was my 7th grade science teacher. |
