I am looking to source a copy if anyone has any ideas.

You are not alone. This is one set that could do with a reprint.

Contact Pete Berry at Baccus baccus6mm.com/ContactUs/. IIRC, he has spoken to Ian Beck's widow and got permission to reprint, he just needs some more gentle reminders to get around to it TMP link

I treasure the copy a kind member sold me several years ago. Surely one of the great inspirational sets in our hobby.

Here's hoping Mr Berry makes it available again!

Hello MiniPigs – I have a copy but am rather fond of it as it's a good game I have played several times and will do so again. Deleted by Moderator I was lucky enough to have chatted with Ian about his rules back in the day – I also have his RUDIS and TRENCH rules all very original and thought provoking.

@Whirlwind,

I sent him an email asking for a copy.

@Gone Fishing. I'm happy youre happy; it's a good thing you aren't rubbing our noses in it or I'd have to take umbrage :)

Yikes, hope I didn't come across as smug! If I did I promise it was unintentional. Looks like you might have things sorted though…Enjoy!

For works created in 1978 or thereafter, the copyright term commences upon creation. For most works, the term continues for the life of the author plus 70 years.The copyright lasts for a term of years , regardless of whether the work is still in print. certainly the widow ( who I suspect owns the copyrights upon death ) would be honored to honor her husband by selling the right so it could see publication again.

I understand that a kickstarter to support a reprinting of the rules is on the horizon.

I'd be interested in a copy as well. If anyone has one to let go.
