As stated, need some donkeys or mules for the late 19th Century. Would prefer animals with supplies on them, but any good quality ones would do. Suggestions for manufacturers of said animals? Would like a US company first, sine I only need a few, to cut down on shipping costs. Thanks! |

Peter pig do packs of mules, Martin will customize packs (my order had no mules with wheels on back). Also Irregular do pack mules. |

Here is a quick fly-by of some of the option. First look at this older TMP thread: TMP link Old Glory FFL link Essex Ancients, but workable: link Alternative Army "Fantasy" as if a mule can be fantasy: link Milton, ancient, but mules don't change much: link QRF: link Tin Soilder: link Magister Militum (OK too ancient perhaps) link Classic Irregular minis: (scroll down) link Notes from a good blog on FFL: link RPE a fantasy mule with attitude: link And I did not even find the ones I was think of. Will work on it! |

Both Peter Pig and Essex ones are nice. |

Still could not find the ones I was thinking of. Most like a resent release of both pack mules and camels But a few more finds: Flames of war Mule Team (XS002) link Eureka (USA) a pack horse that might pass as a mule: link Another Old Glory: link |

Thanks all, lots of choices, alas most in the UK. But that Flames of War team looks decent, as does the Eureka pack horse. I like the RPE mule, but it must be a 25mm mule for that price? |

You are right about the RPE figure, it is 28mm. Too excited Googling on my part. Pack animals are an often over looked item in figure lines. Got to keep those troops supplied. |
