Can anyone explain to me, how to post photos? Thanks.

Dave, thank you for your reply. I realize my question was not specific enough. I don't have a blog or a personal website. Where do people put their photos so that they can be linked to TMP?

Eager to know Rawdon's specific question as well!

A blog is the easiest place to park your pictures and you can add a little or a lot of text to go with them.

You do NOT need an online respository, blog or personal website. You CAN post photos:

Here are the steps to paste a photo directly from your photo library:
1. Open tinypic.com
2. File: Choose file
I use option B. Photo Library
3. File Type: Image
4. Resize (drop down list) – leave as default to see if you like size
5. Select green Upload Now option
6. Select option IMG Code for Forums & Message Boards. Copy and paste the code into your TMP post.

Once you've done this, you'll find it is easy and intuitive. If I can do it, you can as well. : > )

Here is one of several previous discussions (TMP would be a better forum with a Search function):

Following the list above, here is a selection from my photos:

@Condotta

Your photo is 'sideways'.

That was often the case with the Austrians…

Condotta, thanks for the info. I thought we had to have a blog or some place holding the photos before adding on here.

Rawdon18 May 2018 8:15 a.m. PST

Condotta, thank you for the helpful information. I'll give it a try in a couple of weeks.

Its curious. In the (relatively) early days of the combined trend of shift from analog to digital photography, and rise of the high-bandwidth internet, there were easily several dozen sites on which one could maintain a free set of photo images, that supported direct links. I thought they were all gone. Looking forward to checking out tinypic.

Sorry - only verified members can post on the forums.
