In a recent poll – TMP link – the most popular location for the zombie outbreak is a trailer park.

Do you have a trailer park that you can put on your tabletop?

Before the flood last August, I was working on Perfection, Nevada from the original Tremors (1990) film:

Except for the general store and one small house, all of the key buildings there were trailers or mobile homes.

In the process. I have the office and Rec center built and 10 trailers waiting in the box.

Lots of cars and campers on trucks waiting detailing.

Zombies, gangbangers, Boyd Crower's crew and way to few cops basecoated.

A few cars, a camper, and a trash truck are ready.

I do indeed, 3 from Plasticville. 1 is modeled barricaded, 1 is breached and bloody, and the last is pristine.

FYI for those having trailer parks in their games. Not all are the run down, populated by low income, beer guzzling, gun toting red neck types (no offense) pictured by so many movies etc. We have a couple of private, gated retirement communities nearby made up entirely of trailers surrounded by flowers and neatly trimmed "lawns".
So if the zombie outbreak happens there, you'll need lots of old men/women miniatures wearing out of date clothes and using canes and walkers. Maybe they can be armed with BBQ forks and knitting needles with the occasional shotgun.

A good friend on mine has/had (depending on effect of Katrina flooding) a trailer park that he did use in his zombie games.

And don't forget that many of the retirement communities in southern Florida are "trailer parks" (or so I've heard).

No. I have to make the tornado first.

Not me, but two guys in our group do.

Have the plasticville set but not assembled/painted yet.

I don't, but my city has 3 of them. In two of them, a zombie outbreak would go unnoticed until it was way too late!

No, but my friend who runs zombie games has a nice one with pink flamingos. The gun store across the street is named for me.

I think that I could put together a trailer park for a high-tech world in Traveller fairly easily. I already use carry-out containers for large shipping containers that have been converted into warehouses, shops, etc. on frontier worlds. Those could just as easily be converted to housing that would be inexpensive and easily to move by grav vehicle.

I could on short notice. 3 unbuilt Plasticville kits down in the basement stash.

Do zombies wander thru there ?

Oberlindes Sol LIC Supporting Member of TMP06 May 2018 10:44 a.m. PST

@Old Glory: It only counts if you run LARPS in it.

Cops/State Troopers are the one group I think have always been kind of lacking in Zed APOC gaming.
I know & respect, its business & you have to consider: 'Just how many boxes/sets of lawmen would anyone really buy?"
Compared to military, zeds & of course survivors, the greatest in number, there not going to be so great a number.
But I don't think it would be unreasonable to have (if possible) a dozen or so as part of an Apoc collection. Just thinking out loud here.

Two bits:

1) There are usually some light infantry or paramilitaries in different lines that could become SWAT like police with only a different paint job.

2) HeroClix. I have over 120 (modern civil) LEOs (not counting specialists like SWAT or EOD) for which I paid probably less than $50. USD The big issue is make sure you repaint them to get the same uniform color. I have three color sets – almost black blue, dark blue, and medium grey – to allow cooperative forces across different precincts/jurisdictions.
