I don't know anything about windows or the types/styles, so I don't even know how to begin a search for the ones pictured here: link Also seen here:
It looks to me like there's a total of 5-6 on that general store building: YouTube link YouTube link Thanks so much! Dan link TMP link link |

They also do billboards, dormer windows, refuse skips, and single and multiple storey buildings by storey. Postage is free. irongatescenery.co.uk |

Search HO scale windows. Model railroaders use the internet too.
link (Uh oh. 1 in stock. Well, you get the idea.) |

A possible source might be Grandt Line products: link The link goes to some of their HO scale windows, note that there are other categories and scales that might also work for 15mm. The products are finely detailed styrene plastic, and are of beautiful quality. You might also search for Walthers online catalog, they are a large model railroad supplier, and carry Grandt Line and other similar product lines. |

Yep. I used to pay $15 USD a year to get the Walthers printed catalog just to dream and drool. |

Grandt Line and Tichy are the big suppliers of windows for the train guys. You can get them in N, HO, and O scales, all in plastic. There are several who do windows in wood too (laser cut), though I am not as familiar with them. All can be found through a train retailer, through Walthers, or on the internet. Mike |

Second Grandt Line and Tichy. |

Yea, HO will work, since usually their buildings are made a bit underscale, and if not, are just off by a little more than 10%, so just a few millimeters. |

TREMORS? are you making a tremors game? |
JSchutt | 09 Apr 2017 11:44 a.m. PST |
Ahhhhh…looks like the Tremor genre. The reaper "Burrowing Horrors" make awesome threats. Cut the top fin area off… make a press mold…crank out a bunch of plaster castings…paint em up nice…and deal out some death…after a fine chase from hard patch a ground..to hard patch a ground. Assuming they can avoid encountering dynamite of course.

I know that the actor who played Walter Chang was very short, but these windows look pretty wide, don't they? link

Dan, if you send me the dimensions you want, I can easily make those up for you. |
Cacique Caribe | 10 Apr 2017 1:59 a.m. PST |
Javelin98, I might need to. I just placed an order for some of the Tichy ones. If they don't work out, I might need to have you make them. Thanks! Dan PS. I found a few more pics:

Wow. I must admit I had absolutely no idea that HO modelers had such a confounding number of choices when it comes to windows and doors: link Seems a bit intimidating, if you ask me. Specially when you see people who make their own with such precision: link link Dan |

I have walked in to a couple of RR modeler shops and bought windows, doors and similar stuff right off the shelf. What they don't have, they ordered in and I got them in just a few days. Also, I did it often enough with this and other things that they gave me a discount off of the marked list price and didn't charge S & H costs. That made it very competitive with shopping online. |

@Simo Hayha: "TREMORS? are you making a tremors game?" Lol. I've been trying for YEARS, and yet something always happens to derail the project. :) TMP link TMP link Maybe if I just go ahead and build Chang's Market, the worms will come. Dan |

@Simo Hayha, By the way, my "obsession" with Tremors started back when I was collecting and gaming with 28mm. Here are some photos of my first worm, which I started sculpting back in May of 2007. Wow, it feels like ages ago: link TMP link Acheson/Riverbluff sells it nowadays: link But now that I've turned my attention to 15mm, I've been trying to get people interested in gaming with Graboids in that scale/size. Dan PS. Perhaps "obsession" is the wrong word. It feels more like "possession". Maybe my wife is right and I've truly got worms in the brain. :)
