Maybe I got bit by The Editor's JFK bug but I kid you not: link

Where was Popeye Doyle?

In November 1988, Steve J. Rivele's French-published book The Murderers of John F. Kennedy named Sarti as one of three French gangsters involved in the assassination of John F. Kennedy. Rivele claimed Sarti fired the fatal shot from Dealey Plaza's "grassy knoll". According to Rivele, Sarti, Roger Bocagnani, and Sauveur Pironti were contracted by organized crime in the United States to protect their drug interests. The British two-hour television special The Men Who Killed Kennedy was based on Rivele's book, but preceded its release airing on October 25, 1988. In the French newspaper Le Provençal published the day following the special, Pironti denied the allegation stating he believed at the time of the assassination that Sarti was held in Marseille's Baumettes Prison and that Bocagnani was in Bordeaux's Fort du Hâ. He also showed the paper military records showing that he was serving on a minesweeper from October 1962 to April 1964. The French Ministry of Justice stated that Bocagnani was in prison on the day of Kennedy's assassination and officials for the French Navy confirmed Pironti's military service.

So I guess you changed your mind then?

"The fact is that, in the final analysis, these JFK assassination posts from Bill are no more-and no less-related to wargaming than many others that we give a free pass on this site."

Is this the Marseille Mob hit conspiracy show that was one of the 5 JFK conspiracy shows running simultaneously on the "History" Channel?

Could it be that extraterrestrials have been able to forge official records to provide iron-clad cover stories to their French assassination team? And if so, for what purpose?

You might be on to something there!

CIA agent already gave a death bed confession. It was a rogue group with in the CIA. They were angry over JFK not supporting them during the Bay of Pigs operation. The Mafia was also angry cause they lost their casinos in Cuba.

Like I said in a previous discussion.
The grassy knoll was so crowded they had to draw straws to see who shot.

Why does nobody bring up supporters of Ngo Dinh Diem, who Kennedy had assassinated barely 20 Days previously?
Oh? He didn't ORDER it? No? He just said "Ok, I guess so." when the CIA brought it up.
Hey. You go around killing heads of state, what goes around comes around.

My uncle would have said you were on the right trail.

The parents of one of my colleagues were neighbors of Lee Harvey Oswald for a while. According to her, they were not surprised when it was announced that he was the assassin.

But in the end:

"he's dead, Jim"

"You get his wallet and I'll get his tricorder"

Kevin: "they were not surprised when it was announced that he was the assassin."

Sounds like that's becoming a very common epitaph.

So I guess you changed your mind then?

How so? If anything, I defended Bill's right to post these JFK assassination threads by comparing them to your posts. If your posts are "relevant" to TMP, then so are these in all fairness.

And the only reason I added to this discussion is because I'm a cinephile, not because I believe there actually was a "French Connection."
