Some of you may appreciate this, so I adapted the BMP-1 Motor Rifle Battalion for VDV BMD Air Assault troops. Since they are "elite," I increased the Courage and Skill ratings by +1:

Bravo, Sir! I've been wanting to do VDV for Team Yankee, was going to run them as counts-as East Germans, and treat the ASU85 as a T55. Too much armor, of course, but the gun is about right. |

That doesn't line up with sources such as PDF link Organisation for a BMD company should be:
HQ BMD with AK74 team
3 x Platoons each with 4 BMD, 1 AK74 team, 3 AK74 teams with RPG16 Note no RPG18 or PKM. Although AGS17 and SA16 would be available from Battalion support platoons. |

I'll post a fix by tomorrow night for the equipment. I'm not changing the numbers though. BF never pigeon-hole people into using a fixed and inflexible number of vehicles. |

If you want to replace all the AT-3 Sagger missiles of the BMD's with AT-5 Spandrels, thus making them into BMD-1P's instead, I would increase the points per company incrementally starting at +1 point for the minimum-sized company. So a 4-vehicle BMD company with AT-5's would now cost 6 points instead of 5, the 9-vehicle company costs 13 points instead of 11, and the 12-vehicle company 18 points rather than 15. The battalion command vehicle would remain at 1 point, making the upgrade free. |
