Well, none of the countries directly affected by their presence have what it takes militarily to challenge Communist China's takeover of the SCS.

Something should have been done in 2009 when the claim was made.

Something should have been done in 2012 when they started being built.

Xi who must be obeyed was happy bullying Vietnam and the Philippines all he wanted. But I guess that Xi doesn't like it that someone he can't bully around is finally challenging him.

I'm sure that Vietnam, the Philippines and Taiwan are all paying very close attention to this. The rights and sovereignty of all 3 are at stake.
