I was surprised to read that some of our esteemed host did not know that having your poll suggestion accepted as a bona fide poll resulted in a short but free stint as a member:
TMP link This gift may well be budgetarily (is that a word? I'm sure one of our local politicians used it) impossible in the grim dark future -where- there is only war (oops! Is that breaking GW copyright?). At any rate, maybe TMP does not require this? My poll suggestion is: Having a poll suggestion should be a reward unto itself & need not be accompanied with a gift of free membership. Yes or no. |

That probably explains the number of meaningless polls. I say no reward if that results in fewer "What is your favourite…" polls. |

I vote no – making a poll suggestion that is eventually chosen, via a committee of our peers, to be presented as a fully functioning Poll is a contribution to the vibrancy of discussion that makes TMP the lively, nay essential, resource that it is. |

I would like to see more polls which are related to the hobby. Polls on figures, painting, games; as opposed to polls on nonsensical topics including politics. |
