I opened a Flickr account, haven't done any linking yet to see how it will work for me. However, I have in the past seen it used by others here on TMP and elsewhere. |

I'd like to recommend Google Photos because of how easy they make upload (automatic from my Android phone) and adding to folders. But I do have two problems: 1) They don't make it easy to come up with a link to embed the picture here or in forums. I can do it, but always wonder how long the link will work that way. 2) I'd really like something with a better photo / text combination so that it works well for battle reports. I suppose I could get a blog, but that seems like more than I really want. andy |

Andy, what do you mean by "photo/text combination?" |

You can link from a blog if you have one. The photo only needs to be in the blog library – not necessarily used in a blog post. DBDD |

I'd like a caption for each photo. I think a blog is a lot of text with some photos, and I just want pictures with a bit of text. A blog would do it, I guess. But it doesn't feel like what I want. andy |

I just found out that you can edit the Google Photo albums (from one of the … menus) and add text. Shoot, that is what I've wanted all along. andy |
