OK, this is the right board for this post. There are some very creative screen names on TMP. So, how or why did you choose your particular screen name? Inquiring minds want to know. In my case it references our(me and SWMBO) company Stone Mountain Miniatures. And yours? Dave wargamingminiatures.com |

UhOh….Roderick we can't allow actual names so we all know that is a fake name. You can't fool a TMP'er. |
PVT641 | 02 Aug 2017 8:44 a.m. PST |

miniMo | 02 Aug 2017 8:59 a.m. PST |
Mo is standard short for Maureen. Too short for a screen name here though. That was before roller derby. Now, more folks call me Cat, and I use that on other forums I've signed up on since then. |
StoneMtnMinis | 02 Aug 2017 9:01 a.m. PST |
miniMo – OK, you are going to have to explain the roller derby comment |

josta59 | 02 Aug 2017 10:27 a.m. PST |
Wow, there are a lot of interesting responses here. Great idea for a thread. I've been using mine for more than 20 years. Back in college, when the internet was just becoming really accessible, I was into the soft drink Josta (R.I.P.) and the rock band Starflyer 59. They don't really apply anymore. Whenever it's time to decide on a username, I usually use this so I don't have to remember something new. Just lazy, really. |
PzGeneral | 02 Aug 2017 10:29 a.m. PST |
Computer game from SSI I played a lot. And when I began developing "Tigers and Stalins" my friends started calling me this. It has stuck. |

miniMo | 02 Aug 2017 10:32 a.m. PST |
@StoneMtnMinis, I strapped on a pair of roller skates for the first time in my life a month before I turned 49. Skated in my first derby bout a month before I turned 50. Skated for 3 seasons until back strain from remodelling work on our house did me in. Cat O'Mighty #1959. In this photo, I'm wearing the black WMD (Western Mass Destruction) jersey and the pink helmet with the cat ears; taking down the Ironbound Maidens' jammer. It was Garden State's home match, so they got to wear their greens. WMD had to wear our away team black since we couldn't use our usual olive drab. (The referees call penalties by team colour & player number.) Everyone I've met during and after derby calls me Cat, pre-derby friends tend to go with Maureen or Mo. -Cat =^,^=

goragrad | 02 Aug 2017 1:11 p.m. PST |
