Lovely painting, and figures that fill a long vacancy in Napoleonic ranges. I will doubtless wind up buying some eventually just for my collector side! |

'just for my collector side' … Gonsalvo, you just justified some of my purposeless purchases. |

You have to admit…a very short lived ephemeral bunch these Eclaireurs. But we fill our armies with Mamelukes, Tartars, Krakus, Gendarmes d'Elite, etc and tend to forget the poor old Line Chasseurs a Cheval, or the Fusiliers. It is the "collector side" indeed! |

tend to forget the poor old Line Chasseurs a Cheval Not me. I'd be delighted if Perry did some metal CaC appropriate for the Peninsula. They already have hussars and dragoons, so they would be logical step. But the Perrys are nothing if not inscrutable. |

Very nice and, I shall be getting some. Having said that, I'd really like some grubby CaC and Dragoons heavily in campaign dress, big baggy pants for the Peninsula, covered helmets and shakoes….some separate provisions….bread, feed bags, chickens, soup pots etc. |

Brigade Games Miniatures and Perry latest French releases would fit that bill…… |
