Hello again all, Just thought to share comparison pics of Khurasan 15mm Kalinekt Warborgs & using 6mm as swarms. The Warborgs are excellent minis .2 different sets are available, one normal & one heavy. Great detail & poses .Plus no flash or casting defects . They use a novel system in that they have no bases but can stand upright. Have to see how this checks out but most probably I'll be basing them as the heavy weapon ones are difficult to balance properly. khurasanminiatures.tripod.com/15mm-alien-invasion.html The 6mm aliens make great swarms, basing them 3 or 4 to a base would be enough. They also come in 4 different poses which is a plus. They are nice minis also ,considering these are very small. castrarunis.blogspot.com.mt/2017/04/khurasan-new-15mm-kalinekt-warborgs.html

Wow, very cool! A while back I was planning on using 6mm Dark Realm Vampire Skyths for a similar purpose. This is what those Skyth "vampire beasts" look like:

TMP link My guess is that it has to be much harder to shoot fast moving creatures that are that much lower to the ground than a human would be (about 2 ft tall?). Dan |

Why would you shoot them when you have flame throwers and explosives, hehe. Barbecue anyone, I hear them exoskeletal aliens is good eating. |
