I just won an ebay auction for a small force of SKT Miniatures Late Romans which I intend to use for DBA (maybe even HotT too). I've sufficient Legionaries and Auxilia, but I need some light infantry and plenty of cavalry. The SKT figures are nice "old school" miniatures and I really need to ensure the skirmishers and cavalry are a suitable match. Yes, I know I should've bought the figures "back in the day" rather than wait so many years, but what can you do when you just look at the shiny little figures and you just know you gotta have them? Anyhow, does anyone have any recommendations for suitable figures that will match? Regards, Geoff |

The current situation is that I don't mind casting up a few figures for other people if I'm already casting for myself. Please don't depend on this though – when I closed Garrison (due to advancing years!) I gave the wargames community a year or so notice and then allowed previous customers an extra year to complete armies. On that basis, I don't feel that I 'have' to do any casting – getting set up is a major operation these days. Last year I didn't cast any figures – too busy sorting out other figures. I'm no longer up to all weekend casting sessions, but don't mind a few smallish orders if I'm already casting. It would be on a first come first served basis at the time – basically, send me a list of figures you want, if I have time and they are figures reasonably easy to produce I'll try and do them. Keep a look out on my blog. For some reason there has been a lot of interest in Garrison recently! |

Garrison Miniatures – thanks. I recall a few years ago I managed to find a link for the SKT Late Romans (catalogue reference numbers, and also images of the figures). Unfortunately, I can't find the link any more. Could you possibly point me in the right direction…? I probably only need the following: 6 Equites heavy cavalry, 3 Cataphracts, 8 Clibanari, 4 Illyrian light cavalry (javelin & shield), 2 Horse archers, 1 bolt thrower & 2crew, 8 generic Germanic warband types and 4 archers. Regards, Geoff |

I'll put the list on the pages section of my blog later (possibly weekend). Incidentally, there isn't a bolt thrower. |

Thanks again, Garrison Miniatures. I recall seeing the SKT Late Romans (and the Seleucids too – they're another army on my "wish list" – figures I wish I'd picked up when they were available years ago, and regret I didn't) at local shows, primarily Triples in Sheffield. As I couldn't find the catalogue listing I wasn't 100% certain what miniatures were in the range. I'd be very, very happy if you could do the figures I'm after, and if the lack of a bolt thrower is my only concern then I reckon I don't have too much to worry about. All the best, Geoff ps – I'll be keeping an eye on yer blog too |

'ps – I'll be keeping an eye on yer blog too' You didn't, I opened it up for a few days, closed it as full… but email me and I'll include these if you like – need an email address so I can let you know when they're ready, I'll also need your address to post them. |

No email so I'll assume you don't want the figures – let me know if you do and I'll sort it. Incidentally, email address is on TMP Manufacturers page. |
