We decided to run a Napoleonic skirmish game with Too Fat Lardies, Sharpe Practice 2 and Dawns and Departures campaign system as shown here: TMP link We used a Napoleonic version of Pikemen's Lament, slightly modified and the scenario and the rules were a success. A few photos of the game:
Riflemen surprised at Camino Cerrado
British Light Infantry cross the river to occupy the eastern side of Camino Corrado. French dragoons lurk in the distance.
French Volltigers use cover to flank the riflemen in the village. Good game and the results were similar to the TFL game, with the French driving the British screening force and capturing the town and bridge. |

I would be very interested in the rules modifications that you made to Pikeman's Lament. Our group has been looking at using them for AWI. |

We didn't make too many changes and it seemed to work quite well. Cavalry were trotters and infantry had a lower to fire activation number and maybe just a few more. Mr. Leck, one of the co-authors has promised to list the modifications he uses for his Napoleonic variant. See comments section of this blog post: link Hope this helps and good luck with your AWI project. |

Did Mr. Leck ever publish his Napoleonic variations for Pikemen's Lament? If so, where can I find them? |
