Are you tired of polls that have nothing to do with the wargaming hobby (e.g. favorite song of a rock group)? yes yes! no no opinion |

No. I love the off topic polls. In fact, I believe we have had at least two polls on this. Both came out in favor of off topic polls. Are we going to keep running identical polls until we get the "right" answer? And I will add the usual "Is anybody forcing you to open them and vote?" After all, this is not 1975 Albania. We are allowed to be silly. |

Actually, we've gone through at least one period when the readers voted for no more off-topic polls, then later voted them back again. |
miniMo | 12 Oct 2016 8:38 a.m. PST |
Is this a non-wargaming poll? |
Tgerritsen | 12 Oct 2016 8:40 a.m. PST |
I honestly forget there even are polls about 99.9% of the time. They are so low down on the left hand side that I just tune them out unless someone makes note of one in the main topics. |

I prefer the actual forums to be wargaming related (if only), but for the polls, I kinda like that they're all over the place. |

I think most of them are nonsense and just clutter up the board. Wargame topics only please! |
Patrick Sexton | 12 Oct 2016 9:55 a.m. PST |
No, I am not tired of them. Not by a long shot. |

I go to the fora for wargames related purposes (not always successfully, alas). The polls are just for a few moments of light amusement. Therefore, my answer is: "no, I am not tired of them." |
Texas Jack | 12 Oct 2016 11:08 a.m. PST |
Not tired of them in the least. |

To get more wargame related polls, suggest more wargame related polls. This is mostly a user driven part of TMP though dear editor is becoming a pincipal poll provider lately. We've exhausted a lot of gaming polls. Even my "favorite part of the bayonet" received serious attention. What's next? Favorite Napoleonic sword knot? Best shako cord? Favorite volume of "Napoleonic Pom-poms & Shako Devices: Theory & Practice"? (Volume 22 is easily the best of those.) |
Flashman14 | 12 Oct 2016 1:22 p.m. PST |
"Belt Holes of the DAK: 1940-41." |
Allen57 | 12 Oct 2016 1:27 p.m. PST |
Yes I am tired of them. I asked a similar question here TMP link pretty much got shouted down. |
etotheipi | 12 Oct 2016 1:28 p.m. PST |
The only non-wargame posts (including polls and poll suggestions) that I am tired of is ones complaining about non-wargaming posts. |
Asterix | 12 Oct 2016 1:38 p.m. PST |
miniMo: Yes this IS a non-wargaming poll. Hoisted by my own petard! |

"You can move them to any place on the page you want, you know…" Of course that would mean I cared enough about the polls to go through with that.
