Agree, beautiful sculpts. 1:72. I wish these were 28mm, since I would enjoy Baden cavalry as nice as these in the larger scale.

and with separate right arms to allow variety….if only that was more common practice

Were these an active combat unit and, if so, when? I love his cheveau leger so would plan to get these as well but, foolishly, I need to know they fought.

Thanks

And yes Armand, lovely figures. Whenever I am bored i peruse his website to see what is under development. I recently bought the pontooniers. No direct use but lovely figures…

Yeah, but what is the answer to Marc's question? Gardes du Corps had a habit of doing just that and never getting into action. Saxons were an exception……..

But the answer to his question is…….?

seneffe23 Aug 2016 10:21 a.m. PST

Worth mentioning that theur uniform is very similar indeed to Russian Curiassiers 1803-11. With the vexilum standard and star on the helmet, these are dead ringers for the Chevalier Garde.

66 mounted guys. Or 3 figures in my scale. Guess I won't be buying any of those after all. Shame
