I need one musician, one officer and a flag bearer, all with round hat wearing hunting shirts in 28mm. I can use Perry Riflemen but they don't make any command for them. Don't really want to do plastic. Battle Honors comes close but I have to buy 30 figures just to get the three figures I want. Any suggestions? |

Try King's Mountain for the heads, and just about anybody else for the body. |

So the KMM heads will work with the Perry with hunting shirts figs? |

You would have to cut the Perry heads off. |

One of the Perry metal Riflemen (in set AW35) is cast with an open-hand and separate rifle. I left off the rifle, and used one of mine as a standard bearer. |

Try Knuckleduster War of 1812 American Frontier militia. Here is a link to one set: link BTW they are superb figures. |

Rally, The easiest way for you, is to use the Perry HS Cmd pack. I used a bench grinder, but you can use a Dremel or any type of grinder/sander. Grind the hat down to the hairline. Use a pliers here. It gets very hot. Once that's done just use greenstuff or plumbers putty to make the brim of the hat. Very simple. Once that dries completely, use the putty to form the crown of the round hat. A wet toothpick is perfect fr this. There are examples on this board, by me. |

I just snip heads off with cheapo Walmart flush cutting pliers and drill out for the head. |
